Education

I graduated from Texas A & I University (now Texas A & M Kingsville) in 1984 with a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering. More particularly, I specialized in programming and software.

Experience

During and after college, I was employed as a software developer in both financial and educational sectors. Subsequently, I became a consultant, designing and developing software for manufacturing.

After spending over a decade as a software developer, I became the CEO of a large church-school in Maryland, where I managed a multi-million dollar budget for over 15 years.

Solar Owner

I purchased a large (12,075 Wh) system for my home in Phoenix, AZ in September of 2020. The price paid was $2.25 per Wh after incentives were applied. The installation went flawlessly, and I have never had any trouble with the system.

Put it Together

Having the advantage of an engineering degree, and applying my experience managing the finances of a multi-million dollar organization, I have set out to understand the costs and benefits of purchasing solar power for my residence. Hopefully, some of what I have discovered will be useful to others.
